Martín Theurillat (born in 1994) is a guitarist, composer, and musicproducer who has been gaining recognition in the Swiss music scene. With a unique blend of Chilean and Swiss heritage, he brings a diverse range of influences to his music. Martín is currently based in Basel, Switzerland where he completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the JazzCampus University. Throughout his musical journey, Martín has had the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with many accomplished musicians, including Lionel Loueke, Ambrose Akinmusire, Guillermo Klein, Chris Cheek, and others. He cherishes the close personal and professional relationships he has developed with his mentors and peers. Martín is anactive member of the Swiss music community, participating in various projects such as Katom, Hello Pillow, Mantocliff, Francesca Gaza Kugelvörmigkeit ensemble, Duo with Alexandre Cahen Duo with his own Martin Theurillat Trio, and his solo electronic project, Martan Dimanch. With a passion for exploring new sounds and pushing musical boundaries, Martín's music is a unique blend of traditional and modern elements.
